Our little secret, tucked away on the North Pacific Coast of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Known as a surfing and yoga mecca, Nosara has been attracting an amazing and diverse mix of people for a long time.
Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada offer kilometres of beautiful protected beaches, 365 days of surf, unspoiled tropical dry forests, an assortment of jungle wildlife and mountains dotted with secret waterfalls and swimming holes, it’s not hard to see why we’re here.
Other key areas in the Nosara region – (from North to South)
Marbella is North from Guiones. About 40min driving. Now this is a place for more experienced surfers. Some nice waves hitting the beach here. It’s a bit of a sleepy village but it is what more and people are looking for. Pace and quietness. A few very interesting projects within 5km.
San juanillo is Eden’s garden close to Guiones, a beach of intense beauty. It is where some go to escape the sometimes too busy area around Guiones. It’s the best of all worlds. Living in all comfort away from the craziness. This is the real Costa Rica.
This world famous turtle nesting beach and protected marine park is paradise. Quiet and close to anything you could want, it’s easy to see why it’s gained the reputation it has. From it’s unspoiled black sand beaches to pristine waterfalls, it’s an ideal retreat from day-to-day life!
Samara is a mellow beach town on the Pacific Coast, about 30 min South of Guiones. It’s one of the rare beaches with restaurants and bars on that beautiful white sand beach. Lots of activities, a great family vibe.

Puerto Carrillo is a district and village in the canton of Hojancha, Guanacaste Province in Costa Rica. Situated along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica’s Guanacaste Province, Puerto Carrilo is a jewel among Costa Rica’s Pacific beaches. We have a few selections here.
